How do you become a doctor, and which qualifications do you need?

Okay so I am only 14 but it would be my dream to be a qualified doctor, just a general doctor. What subjects would you need to study and what happens after that do you need to go university or do you go straight away to medical school.|||GCSE- As many A's and A*s as possible. You need: English, maths, triple science

A Levels- As many A's and A*s as possible. Most unis require Biology and Chemistry. Your other two options can be any other academic subjects. (Economics, History, a foreign language, english lit, maths, physics etc.) No General Studies or Critical Thinking.

You then apply to university to study medicine|||Check out this link http://www.nhscareers.nhs.uk/details/def鈥?/a> It should tell you everything you need to know.
