Would you choose a doctor who graduated from Harvard with honors or one who studied just enough to pass?

People put more thought into choosing a doctor than a Presidential candidate.

Anyone who does not choose the Harvard educated doctor is simply not telling the truth.

What do you think?|||I would choose the doctor who graduated with honors from Harvard. And I know who that is...|||Here's the problem with your question.

You, like so may others, assume that a doctor who graduated from Harvard with honors is a better doctor based solely on the fact that he/she graduated from Harvard with honors.

The question should be whether you would choose a doctor who graduated from Harvard with honors over a much more qualified doctor.

How much money a doctor or a presidential candidate spent on his education is secondary to his qualifications.|||If one Doctor has 30 years experience performing the surgery I am having and one has 2 years and spent much of that time doing something else, then it doesn't matter where they went to school. I am going to pick the one with the most experience. This is a ridiculous question and it really shows the opposite of what you're trying to convey. Obama is simply not ready to lead this nation.|||You're assuming that all Americans are rational about how they vote, the truth is , a good number of them don't want a smart leader; they want someone like them who they feel comfortable with: racism, money, and a whole bunch of other factors hamper objective voting. Let's face , if the country voted 100% based on logic and nothing else (McCain vs. Obama) McCain would've been blown out the water a LONG time ago|||If the doctor from Harvard had no experience operating on heart patients, and the Doctor that graduated from somewhere else had a great record of success on heart surgery, I think I would choose the doctor with the successful record.|||You are absolutely right.|||Which one is a Marxist? Political ideology is important.|||I agree completely. Excellent observation!!
