What are the pros and cons of becoming a doctor?

What are the pros and cons of becoming a doctor? Please describe in detail a daily lifestyle at work, free time outside of work, salary, college experience, and stress. When I say doctor, I mean a general doctor, such as a pediatrician, a doctor of internal medicine, or a general practitioner with a MD or a DO degree.|||Wow, you're asking a lot.

Either you're called to it or you're not. Pros and cons don't really enter into it that much. If you have to be convinced to go into medicine, then don't.

second thing is are you ready to read, read and read. every year there is edition of books, at least you have to up to date your books every 203 years to keep you up to date, plus you have to read lot journals.

as a junior doc, you have to night duties, and duties during holidays etc and you will not earn enough money usually.

your working condition will not be very beautiful, because every government do not want to spend on this sector much. so your working condition will be far less than R%26amp;D jobs, bank jobs etc.

to become a specilist, you will have a stiff competion with your other docs etc

above all if you want to dedicate your life, then job environment, lots of reading, less money than bankers, antd R%26amp;D friends are all acceptable.
