My family doctor is in a city an hour and a half away... I am in a city for school and don't see myself going back anytime soon because I don't have a car. I need my tonsils taken out, they are horrible and get infected regularly. How do I make this work? Do I go to a walk-in? Will they do anything about it? Only a qualified surgeon can do this.
I recommend you call your family doctor's office and ask what they recommend you do about this. Perhaps they can give you the name of a specialist near you.
